Meet some of the Family - Furry Friends

I thought today I'd introduce you to some of our family. Some people were a little camera shy and others LOVED the camera...don't we all know people like that?!

This is Thai, we bought her about 2 months ago, she is aprox 4-5mths old. She's a cutie and was the second of three rabbits we now have.

Ninja is also a black rabbit but he was camera shy today. We have had him for 12mths now. He's not as placid as the girls, I think he's a bit shy.

This is Muay, we have had her for about 6 weeks now, she is aprox 4mths old. She's such a sweetie!! Look at those ears .....so cute!! She loves cuddles and always runs to get your attention as you walk past the cadge. Such a poser for the camera too.

This is Rufus, who is also a poser!! He loves everyone's attention and makes sure if anyone else is getting some he gets some too. Rufus is now about 8yrs old. He loves just hanging in the yard with us or his animal friends. He can fetch the ball problem is he doesn't like to, so he goes and gets the ball looking all keen then hides it so you can't throw it again hehe  Needless to say we have to watch his weight as he's rather lazy and loves his food! Sounds like some people I know, what do they say about pets being like their owners?

All of our animals get along so well, the cat is often seen either in the chook house or sitting with the rabbits playing. The cat and dog chase each other around and crash tackle each other and the chickens sit on the top of the rabbit cadge. I've spent hours some days just watching them all playing, they have given us some good laughs along the way. Here is a photo that explains just how much they all really do love each other.
How cute is that??

We have a cat too, his name is ALF he wasn't around when I was taking photos but will try to get a photo tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll cover our feathered family members.

  2. Oh they're all beautiful Erica!!! I used to have a rabbit in England - named Coco - but should have been Houdini because he was the best escape artist I've ever met! Never found out how he got out of the cage and into the next door neighbours yard to eat all her home grown veges...lol! She used to yell at us with her Irish accent 'coom and get this bloomin' rubbit owt o' my vege patch! hehehe!
